Banmara Kimono

Matka Silk and Cotton Kimono Robe. Handloomed by women in their Bhaktapur homes, naturally dyed and eco-printed by a mom and daughter team in the village of Kakani , and finally sewn by a small team of seamtreses in the city. Banmara, or catweed, is a plant found in abundance in the Himalayan foothills and leaves these beautiful golden prints that we paired with the pink of madder root.
